The Coca-Cola Company Manager, Manufacturing IT Infrastructure in Liberia, Costa Rica

This Manufacturing IT Infrastructure Manager role designs and governs IT infrastructure initiatives at Coca-Cola manufacturing facilities globally. Responsible for managing global server infrastructure and leading the team of Server Infrastructure Analysts. Partners with business leadership, provides counsel on Information Technology related standards and programs. Partners with fellow IT teams in pursuit of implementing standard IT infrastructure solutions. Ensures compliance with cybersecurity requirements and all other established operating and emerging technology standards, practices, and procedures
What You'll Do For Us :
Develop and implement strategies for consistent, secure design patterns across Manufacturing IT server platforms, infrastructure, and applications, globally
Establish standard operating procedures for managing and supporting server infrastructure and VM Ware
Design and manage IT strategies and cloud configurations
Serve as escalation point for troubleshooting complex Server and VM Ware issues
Serve as Lead technical role in IT projects with Server and VM Ware requirements
Assist in other projects such as cloud configurations, databases, operating systems, and applications
Maintain documentation for all operational / support processes for the systems supported; automate repetitive processes where appropriate
Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure the introduction of innovative technologies and the replacement of outdated ones where necessary
Provide supplementary support to the local Client Services team during peak periods and critical situations as necessary
Ensure adherence to lifecycle management plans, asset management standards, and policies
Manage local IT Infrastructure contracts and license renewal
Contribute to shareholder value by eliminating waste and improving operational efficiency
Manage vendor relationships and service provider performance to ensure compliance with SLAs and agreements
Promote cultural and ethical values by modeling and coaching for employee commitment and engagement
Develop and adapt skill set as business and technology evolve
Qualifications & Requirements :
English proficiency is a must.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
A minimum of 5 years of related work experience working in Information Technology; building and supporting distributed computing environments. Bottler or manufacturing experience strongly preferred
Functional Skills Requirements :
A good understanding of the IT OT solutions in plants operations and related infrastructure, to support Manufacturing projects
As well as Project Management skills (including Microsoft DevOps experience)
Infrastructure management tools experience (e.g., Commvault backup, SolarWinds, etc.)
Experience in developing and executing IT solutions to complex business problems
Experienced in working and collaborating in a cross-functional environment
Robust proficiency in Linux and/or Windows systems
Strong understanding of virtual computing environments and concepts such as hypervisors, virtual switches, vCPU, and load balancing concepts
Strong understanding of TCP/IP network concepts including bridging, switching, routing & DNS
Understanding of Cybersecurity threats and mitigating controls
Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure
Experience with cert-manager on Kubernetes is a plus.
Experience implementing automated software and cloud integration.
Deep skills with VMware vRealize suite (vRA/vRO) and Custom Workflow Development
Experience architecting, implementing cluster deployments with a preference for experience with vendor supported variants such as VMware.
Understanding of Agile Methodologies
Understand how to build DR, BCP, and Reliable systems.
Fluent in virtualization - compute, storage, and networking
Fluent in Virtualization, VMware SDDC stack, knowledge in Network security/Firewall, Switch and Load balancer concepts including VMware NSX
General understanding of distributed systems architectures, challenges, and design implications
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills - ability to capture and process input, appropriately escalate issues, obtain, and track issue resolution
