Amentum Site Supervisor (CH-47 Aviation) Lexington, Oklahoma in Lexington, Oklahoma

The Site Supervisor supervises a variety of labor categories performing various maintenance and repair work at an OCONUS site or facility. Additionally, will be the single interface for maintenance, supply, and logistics efforts in support of the program contract.

  • Manage day-to-day program support including maintenance and logistics support (supply, training, facilities, support equipment, etc.) and provide guidance to deliver efficient work procedures, work schedules and workflow.

  • Monitors contractual delivery orders, contract funds status, customer satisfaction and satellite job sites for contract compliance.

  • Supervise, coordinate, assign duties, provide leadership, and reviews the work of assigned staff and contract for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.

  • Monitors and fosters harmony among the crew complement.

  • Reviews composite reports from individual reports of subordinates prior to submission.

  • Provides guidance to correct errors and complaints.

  • Monitors work sites during and after completion to determine safety, quality, and completeness.

  • Monitors the process of work orders, labor time sheets and material requested for accuracy before submitting.

  • Prepares written and oral reports to the Program Management staff as required.

  • Respond to various types of emergencies and provide assistance as appropriate based on skills, knowledge, and ability.

  • Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of mechanics, installers, and repairers. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, assigning, and directing work, determining work schedules, monitoring, and assessing work, appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining, resolving problems, and communicating necessary information on an ongoing basis.

  • Coordinate and manage the technical and administrative operations and all other aspects of the program to ensure timely availability of program deliverables to meet specified operational requirements.

  • Provide expertise and advice to the Customer and his staff on system, technical, and logistics matters and the effective use of CMS efforts.

  • Provide assistance, technical expertise, and training to customer officers, enlisted personnel, and civilians in the support of program.

  • Perform other qualified duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Knowledge of operations specific to contract and safe working techniques and procedures.

  • Ability to communicate knowledgeably and effectively at senior management levels.

  • Strong leadership skills with ability to manage a large and diverse workforce.

  • Skilled in operations, logistics, and resource management.

  • Must possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines.

  • Ability to respond rapidly and sufficiently to changing requirements, unexpected contingencies, and other challenging situations.

  • Ability to manage available resources in time sensitive situations.

  • Working knowledge of OSHA and company requirements

  • Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.

  • Competent in the use of a computer, to include Microsoft Office Suite, especially Work, Outlook, and Excel.

  • In-depth knowledge of flight line operations, aircraft/vehicle movement, and safety/hazards.

  • Advanced knowledge of aircraft common and special tools and test equipment, aircraft technical orders/job guides/publications and schematic diagrams, drawings, charts and technical publications, aircraft engine, landing gear, and flight control systems.

  • Knowledge of the NASA Aircraft Maintenance Information System (NAMIS) to record maintenance actions, determines aircraft status, research aircraft historical records, and verifies aircraft is flight ready.

  • Required at least ten years of aviation maintenance experience.

  • Required five years of supervisory experience.

  • Required five years of US Army aviation maintenance experience.

  • Required two years of US Army aviation maintenance supervisory experience.

  • Ability to travel (25%). Position requires routine travel to site operating locations.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI(T1) Public Trust Security Clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization to work at this facility.

Physical/Preferred Requirements

  • Must be able to walk or stand on level and/or inclined surfaces up to three (3) hours per day and sit for up to five (5) hours per day.

  • May be required to lift up to 30 lbs. to the height of 4 feet and up to 20 lbs. to a height of 7 feet.

  • May be required to carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds.

  • On occasion must be able to lift up to 80 pounds.

  • Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp, or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders.

  • Must be able to routinely climb / descend stairs.
