Physical Requirements | This position requires regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to or over 50 pounds; and performing tasks with repetitive motions. Also involves some exposure to risk of injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; and exposure to loud noises, temperature extremes, cuts/punctures, and combative/violent people |

Job Summary | This position will support patient throughout for the Operating Room and Perioperative Services. Additionally, this position will collaborate with nursing leadership to ensure physician, patient, and staff requests are triaged appropriately, and will update the nurse coordinator or charge nurse with any schedule changes. Responds quickly to all caller and web requests to ensure efficient flow for the department. Facilitate all requests from inbound /outbound calls in a timely manner. Accurately collect and enter all data into database on a continuum with 100% accuracy. |
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | Excellent communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; the ability to work in fast-paced, high stress, team-centered environment, and an understanding of healthcare information systems |
