Shift
Weekdays: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Weekends
Must be able to work 3 hours each shift.
Job Summary
  • Provide care and maintenance for our mouse colony, including but not limited to feeding, watering, building clean cages, change dirty cages and handling mice.
  • Assist in monitoring animal health and behavior, including reporting any concerns to the lab coordinator.
  • Maintain accurate records of animal care activities and observations.
  • Follow all laboratory protocols to ensure a clean, safe, and ethical working environment.
  • Assist lab coordinator with lab maintenance.



Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and follow protocols precisely. An interest in animal research and care.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No
Preferred Education/Experience
Prior experience with animal care is preferred, but not required.
