Calvary Bible Church Multi-Media Ministries Director in Lewistown, Pennsylvania
Purpose of Position
The Multi-media Ministries Director(s) work under the guidance of the Worship Leader to provide leadership oversight of the media ministry and its volunteers and provide technical support and operation of all multi-media equipment.
Prerequisites
Must have a solid grasp of computer/internet skills, sound, lighting and recording equipment. Additionally, they must:
- Have a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a vital, growing personal relationship with Him.
- Commitment to moral purity and living as an example for others.
- Commitment to the Purpose, Mission and Vision of the church as stated in the CBC Constitution.
- Demonstrate experience and excellence as a media ministry leader.
General Responsibilities
Maintain good order and discipline of multi-media team volunteers, train, support, and monitor their performance, and operate and/or monitor all multi-media equipment during various church services.
Specific Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight in all areas of the media ministry, its equipment, and volunteers.
- Recruit, train, and supervise all media volunteers during various church services/events.
- Schedule volunteers for all services/events as required by Worship Leader.
- Create/edit video projects for various services, special events, and weekly services.
- Provide direction in the purchase and maintenance of all media ministry technical equipment.
- Work with the Senior Pastor and Worship Leader to develop creative ways to use multimedia within services and special events.
- Provide input to the Worship Leader for the media ministry portions of the annual budget.
- Attend weekly production meetings and worship team rehearsals as required.
- Must be able to work well with others and delegate duties as appropriate.
- Must possess professional maturity, good communication skills, self-motivation, and attentiveness to details.
- An attitude of continual learning and sharing of knowledge and information is expected to benefit the entire multi-media team and the church. Teamwork and constant improvement are essential.

Accountability: The Multi-Media Ministries Director answers to the Senior Pastor and the Worship Leader.
