Amergis RN - Care Manager/Admissions Nurse in Lewiston, Maine
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Clinical Admissions Coordinator responsible for the coordination and planning for pre-admission activities. The Clinical Admissions Coordinator identifies and collects information, with the assistance of other departments and hospitals, to finalize the admissions process.
Minimum Requirements:
Licensed healthcare professional (current and valid license in state of assignment)
One (1) year healthcare experience highly preferred
Clinical experience in hospital setting preferred
Ability to apply clinical guidelines to pre-admission records
Ability to perform clinical assessments to evaluate patient care needs
Ability to work collaboratively with medical staff
Experience in Case Management, Utilization Management or Discharge Planning preferred
Must be at least 18 years of age
