Core Responsibilities:

This position’s primary role is the receptionist for the Lewiston District Office. The position directly assists customers through effective public relations skills in order to meet their needs. This position provides office and administrative support with responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:

  • Receiving and greeting visitors, determining needs, and routing to the appropriate divisional office/resource;

  • Assisting customers with telelanguage access and/or video remote interpreting services;

  • Entering and maintaining walk-in traffic via an electronic database;

  • Examining documents/information, determining facts, detecting errors and irregularities, and taking action, as authorized;

  • Creating and using varied correspondence formats and composing standard business correspondence;

  • De-escalating and resolving minor concerns as they arise

Minimum Qualifications:

To qualify, your background must include training, education, or experience in office and administrative support work.

The background of well-qualified candidate will demonstrate experience in the following areas:

  1. Skilled in the use of standard workplace equipment and applications (MS Word, EXCEL, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.).

  2. Prior experience performing a broad range of administrative duties.

  3. Prior experience working with customer service which involves direct face-to-face contact with clients.
