Covenant Health PHYSICAL THERAPIST in Lewiston, Maine
JOB SUMMARY
The Physical Therapist at St. Mary's Health System will be able to provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients. They will be responsible for performing evaluative and therapeutic procedures under the order of a physician or other accepted healthcare providers while observing precautions, indications and contradictions. They will evaluate and treat patients per department protocols and establish therapeutic plan of care, including long and short term goals.
The Physical Therapy rehabilitation services at St. Mary's are provided in the outpatient and acute inpatient settings. Therapists partner with patients and other health care providers to provide PT services with a goal of maximizing patient's functional abilities and independence.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Bachelor's degree required
Valid State of Maine Physical Therapist license required
BLS certification required
Experience:
1-3 years previous Physical Therapist experience preferred
Willing to consider new graduates
Other Skills Required:
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills required
Positive attitude
Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team
Must be adaptable in a fast-paced environment
