LC State invites applications for the position of Admissions Systems Specialist

Salary and rank based on experience and qualifications: \$46,052

Degree Required:Bachelor\'s degree from a regionally accredited college or university

Required Qualifications:

  1. Experience with Microsoft Office
  2. Minimum two (2) years of technical/data entry experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working with student databases (e.g., Ellucian Recruit, Ellucian Colleague)

Responsibilities:

Admission Processing

  1. Process admission applications (domestic and international) through Recruit and Apply Idaho
  2. Oversee processing of Apply Idaho
  3. Fix integration errors between the CRM (Recruit) and ERP (Colleague)
  4. Process college transcripts (receive, scan, and link)
  5. Process daily folder documents (high school transcripts and test scores)
  6. Serve as backup for importing test scores (ACT/SAT/ALEKS/Writing Placement Exam)
  7. Serve as backup for post-secondary transcript calculations
  8. Serve as backup for the CRM database

Reporting

  1. Create reports using report-writing software

General Responsibilities

  1. Answer general admission inquiries by phone, email, LiveChat, or in-person
  2. Train new student employees on data entry in Recruit and Colleague
  3. Assist in the development of on-campus programs for prospective students
  4. Assist in the development of campus publications, computer-based marketing pieces, and other promotional materials
  5. Participate in New Student Orientation

Additional duties include direct and indirect activities to support the recruitment and retention of students.
