Acute Rehab Registered Nurse

Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the Acute Rehab unit.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive, individualized care plans based on the patients' needs and goals.

  • Monitor and document patients' physical and psychological status, progress, and response to treatment.

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team.

  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care.

  • Provide patient and family education on disease management, medication administration, and self-care.

  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment.

Job Requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Acute Rehab nursing.

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

  • Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

  • Knowledge of rehabilitation nursing principles and practices.
