BluePearl Regional IT Specialist in Levittown, Pennsylvania

BluePearl is hiring an exceptional Regional IT Market Specialist based out of Philadelphia, PA.

The Regional IT Market Specialist provides local and remote IT support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment, systems, and PC infrastructure in the facilities of the assigned region.

As the Regional IT Market Specialist , you will:

  • Handle Service Desk tickets for the region either in the ticketing system or verbally. Coordinate with 3rd party vendors for hospital improvements. (E.G. Installing Network equipment/drops, Ordering Hardware for workstations, etc)

  • Provide local and remote IT support for server and desktop/laptop hardware and software, printers, and network issues.

  • Perform standard systems administration and maintenance for server and PC Operating Systems, including upgrades, patching, and resolving any issues relating to the various components in the infrastructure. End-user queries and troubleshooting.

  • Refresh, reimage and configure desktop/laptop/thin clients using LANDesk.

  • Manage servers (physical and virtual), systems, and peripheral devices.

  • Interact with VMWare Virtual Infrastructure Environment.

  • Assist with management of LANs and WANs, including MPLS

  • Install, manage, modify, and repair computer/server hardware and software.

  • Perform routine maintenance and configuration on server systems.

  • Prepare and maintain documentation to include network and system configurations, training manuals, and how-to-documents.

  • Manage and maintain backups and antivirus.

  • Clearly and effectively communicates technical information and the status of projects, equipment, and personnel to internal clients, management, and peers.

  • Be hands-on site for system administration in remote locations (help with software deployments, server troubleshooting, phone system issues, etc.)

  • Work with local management and support center purchasing to purchase correct IT equipment for the respective region.

  • Be available 24/7/365 as the first line of contact in case of outage or hardware failure.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education experiences, is required.

  • 2+ years of job-specific experience in a systems administration or consulting environment required.

  • Industry certification preferred: VMware, Microsoft, CompTIA, SonicWall, and vendor-specific (Dell,HP,IBM/Lenovo).

  • The ability to support smartphones, tablets, and Macs highly desired.

  • Experience supporting multiple, geographically separated sites preferred.

  • Proficiency in Active Directory, VMware, and troubleshooting following a demonstrated methodology.

  • The ability to support TDM and VOIP phone systems is a plus.

  • Demonstrated experience in the following areas:

  • Supporting Microsoft remote desktop (terminal services) environments

  • Microsoft Server: 2008-2016

  • Microsoft Windows: 10

  • Microsoft Office 2010-2016 support and deployment

  • Frequent printer and print server support tasks

  • Network device configuration and troubleshooting (routers and switches – VLAN’s, port forwarding, routetables, etc)

  • Client-Server application familiarity

  • Email and calendar systems (O365)

  • Support Ticketing systems and Telecommunications (preferred)

  • Knowledge of Google suite of apps a plus.

  • Digital Radiography experience a plus.
