Scope of Responsibilities: Works under limited supervision and follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned task

Job Summary: Responsible for accurate and timely delivery of orders to long term care facilities, while ensuring total customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Job Duties:

  • Must comply with all State and Federal laws governing the proper and safe operation of a motor vehicle

  • Must comply with all State and Federal laws governing the proper and safe delivery of prescriptions to the patient or their agent

  • Accurately package and prepare items for facility delivery

  • Schedule delivery route in most efficient manner to insure timely delivery with least travel required

  • Responsible for completion of all paperwork and proper filing

  • Insure all necessary vehicle maintenance is performed on company delivery vehicle, including maintenance of interior and exterior

  • Greet customers using appropriate greeting and maintaining customer service levels as needed

  • Pick up medications and/or supplies from other facilities

  • Must keep current with all State and Federal requirements as related to conditions of employment

  • Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs

  • Required to read and sign the Fleet Management Policy

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Attendance Requirements:

  • Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts

  • Must be able to work nights and weekends as required

Education:

  • Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled in) or GED

Job requirements :

  • Must possess a valid Drivers License in good standing

Experience:

  • Preferred: 0-2 years previous experience in related position

Required (Vermont Employees):

  • Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician

Required (New Hampshire Employees):

  • Registered with the State of New Hampshire as a Pharmacy Technician

Special Conditions of Employment:

  • Drug test

  • Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring

  • Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position

Job Skills Required:

  • Basic Math skills necessary

  • Strong communication skills

  • Outstanding customer service skills

  • Requires the ability to sit, stand, climb stairs and walk throughout the duration of the shift

  • Limited lifting up to 40 lbs

  • Successful completion of a pre-employment and/or random drug screening test

Required Training:

  • HIPAA Privacy Course

  • HIPAA Security Course

Compensation:

$10.61 - $14.94 an hour

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
