Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accountant in the manufacturing industry. This role involves managing financial aspects of the business, including preparing financial statements, budgeting, and maintaining records.
Responsibilities:
• Administering and maintaining accurate records of the company's financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Preparing and distributing financial statements to the executive team.
• Conducting financial analysis on supplier purchases, member rebates, and events.
• Overseeing the creation and management of the yearly budget.
• Coordinating with the marketing team in planning events.
• Processing and reconciling reports from third-party payroll companies.
• Preparing annual 1099 tax forms and handling month-end close procedures.
• Managing the company's local bank relationship and overseeing the 401K plan.
• Working with the product team on special projects.
• Managing the company's insurance plans and trademarks.
• Utilizing various accounting software systems, including QuickBooks and ERP for managing accounting functions.
• Working closely with CPA on annual review, taxes, and quarterly statements. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Knowledge of CL Programming
• Familiarity with Concur
• Profound understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Ability to manage all Accounting Functions
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• Expertise in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proven experience in Auditing
• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Account Management
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Experience in handling Approved Budgets
• Familiarity with Form 1099
• Experience in managing Month End Close processes
