National Power, LLC AC Electrician Helper in Leesburg, Florida

Job Summary: National Power has an immediate need for a dependable Electrician Helper to join our team in our southeastern U.S. region. Under the general direction of and reporting to the Project Manager, the Electrician Helper will primarily be responsible for assisting the lead electrician with electrical work in the installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment for National Power customers. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems

  • Help with wiring, conduit installation, and electrical component assembly

  • Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostics on AC systems

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

  • Obtain required equipment, tools, and materials for projects

  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

    Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and components

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments

  • Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced electricians

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Ability to learn or knowledge of the NEC and Interpret blueprints and carry out work accordingly

  • Ability to obtain safety certifications after hired, company sponsored

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED

  • Experience in the telecommunications industry a plus

    Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds

  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights

  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods

  • Manual dexterity to handle tools and equipment

  • Ability to work in various weather conditions

  • This is a remote position and will require the employee to work away from home. Travel up to 100% (up to 2 weeks)
