Permobil, Inc. Final Configuration Technician in Lebanon, Tennessee
Key Duties:
- Directly involved in the procurement of parts, final configuration assembly, final quality check, and testing of product.
- Uses basic hand tools to assemble complex and custom mechanical and electrical product designs.
- Assembles each wheelchair order according to individual specifications, production schedule, and standards of quality. Each chair is unique so assembly duties are non-routine.
- Serves as a source of final configuration, quality inspection, testing, compliance and production expertise; provides appropriate engineering consultation and systems design services as requested, and helps monitor the quality of product.
- Maintains an organized and safe work environment.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Required Knowledge:
- High school diploma or GED
- Skill in following detailed instructions in electro-mechanical assembly, intermediate to advanced mechanical aptitude and intuition.
- Two or more years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Best experience is gained from work related to mechanical equipment repair.
