SCOPE OF POSITION:

Develops, plans, and implements the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) systems. Works with key leaders and decision makers to identify and manage the scope of the project. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities and monitors progress for the ERP/CPQ systems. Provides clear direction and deliverables to ERP Leads and subsequent teams. Evaluates and recommends changes to current and future ERP system requirements to meet organizational needs. Leads the implementation of new organizational processes aligned with ERP configuration.

  • Responsible for a multi-year ERP delivery program utilizing industry best practices and an emphasis on standardization, with a primary emphasis on North America operations and a path towards a global footprint

  • Develop ERP rollout methodology and strategy, with priority to North America operations

  • Develop and monitor project timeline and milestones and identifying potential risks to the timeline as well as effective mitigation plans

  • Overall accountability for reasonable integration project plans

  • Understand and reinforce program boundaries to project team members to help guide focus and productivity

  • Manage the ERP reporting, technical, and functional teams for the implementation of ERP

  • Accountable for identifying and deploying the right level of process, control and decision processes in the ERP Program

  • Manage/lead implementation partner in all areas of ERP deployment

  • Lead change management initiatives, working with our implementation partner and other functional areas to develop and execute on transformation and integration strategies for the implementation of ERP

  • Lead requirements gathering and design activities, interact with team to collect information, lead and/or oversee and provide guidance on configuration, training, testing, and go-live activities

  • Work with all areas of IT for integration of data into and out of ERP

  • Define strategies to enable manufacturing/operations excellence

  • Oversee the project quality assurance process for the project

  • Evaluate operations processes, including order entry, manufacturing, time to close, PO process, and sales to revenue bookings processes to identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and improved cycle times

  • Work directly with the software vendors and service providers for issue resolution and implementation of functionality

  • Present status and project plan as required to the steering committee and executives

  • Establish and maintain clear communication channels with all stakeholders, including the Executive Steering Committee, Business Advisory Council and all relevant company stakeholders

  • Collaborate with PMO to Define and track metrics, KPI’s and Dashboards

  • Monitor the ERP & CPQ Program budgets and be able to deliver within them. Independently manage work schedule and organize assigned tasks to meet deadlines, independently resolve scheduling and workload conflicts while responsible for multiple activity streams and tasks

  • Address issues and conflicts with people, process and technology and engage stakeholders to find solutions in order to meet project deadlines

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION: (Minimum Education and/or Experience required)

  • Bachelors degree required; degree in an operations, manufacturing, or supply chain discipline preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience required.

  • Demonstrated excellence in operations and supply chain leadership

  • Significant expertise in creating lean manufacturing execution strategies

  • Experience in utilizing state of the art ERP systems and modern manufacturing technology experience, including RFID, barcoding, automated manufacturing equipment, etc.

  • Proven ability to manage highly complex and time sensitive operations and related projects

  • 7 to 10 years of relevant operational experience required.

  • Experience leading global implementations of ERP across multiple regions

  • Comfortable in organizing and managing and increasingly remote & global workforce

  • Requires travel of up to 30% for business

  • Requires the use of various electronic tools

  • Requires the ability to relate to others beyond giving and receiving instructions: must partner with colleagues without exhibiting behavioral extremes

  • Requires the performance of work activities including reasoning, negotiating, instructing, persuading, or speaking with others; and respond appropriately to constructive feedback from executive management

  • Demonstrable history of managing people well, setting and communicating clear-guiding goals, measures accomplishments, holds team and people accountable and provides constructive and useful feedback to guide future performance
