Job Title: Injection Mold Manager
Job Description
We are looking for a 1st shift Injection Mold Manager to join our team in Lafayette, IN. The Injection Mold Manager is responsible for the safe maintenance, repair, or replacement of plant equipment and systems to ensure maximum production quantity and quality while supporting the company's policies, goals, and objectives.
Responsibilities
Track department KPI and create systems to hit targets.
Supervise, schedule and manage all aspects of the Molding department
Work with Process Technicians and Engineers to develop processing cycles for all molding machines.
Troubleshoot any molding issues using Root Cause Analysis (or similar) to determine and correct the issues going forward.
Attend the daily production meeting and assign work based on the priorities outlined in the meeting.
Manage department profitability by improving first time yield and reducing material waste.
Work with Quality to qualify new or existing parts on new Molding Machines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Hands-on experience with injection molding machines, mold setup, and process optimization.
Proficiency in troubleshooting molding defects and implementing corrective actions.
Experience with automation, robotics, and auxiliary equipment used in injection molding

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.27/hr.
