S3D Administrator

· Government Solutions, serving government customers globally, including capabilities that cover the full lifecycle of defence, space, aviation and other government programs and missions from research and development, through systems engineering, test and evaluation, program management, to operations, maintenance, and field logistics.

· Sustainable Technology Solutions (‘STS’), featuring proprietary technology, equipment, catalysts, digital solutions and related technical services for the monetization of hydrocarbons, including refining, petrochemicals, ammonia and specialty chemicals, as well as inorganics. It also incorporates the energy transition offerings including onshore and offshore oil and gas; LNG/GTL; oil refining; petrochemicals; chemicals; fertilizers; differentiated EPC; maintenance services; floating solutions; program management and consulting services.

The Role

Responsible for the support and maintenance of S3D modeling application and the KBR seed/standard roll out (common engineering environment).

Required to perform problem solving and fixing of software operating system related issues, working with both customers and software suppliers to resolve day to day issues.

Duties also include consultative/advisory role to projects, providing innovative solutions and technologies with a focus on cost and schedule savings, performing data management activities such as project handover, project archiving.

Essential Skills

  • Advanced knowledge in order to support main Hexagon applications: Smart 3D (S3D), Smart Review (SPR).

  • Experience with 2D drafting tools AutoCAD and MicroStation.

  • A good knowledge of programming, example languages, C#, .Net, VB/VBA and SQL.

  • Modification/configuration of Oracle and SQL Server database using SQL and PL/SQL.

  • Windows OS skills both server and client.

  • Batch and windows script writing.

  • Good problem solving and communication (written and oral) skills.

  • Able to generate and maintain documentation in the form of user guides, training materials and test plans.

  • Positive Team attitude.

Education & Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in any Engineering discipline, Computer Science or a related field.

  • Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in any Engineering discipline, Computer Science, Information Technology and a relevant number of years' experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of AVEVA applications: E3D/PDMS, Aveva Engineering, Aveva Net, a plus.

  • Advanced scripting skills (Windows Script and Power Shell).

  • Knowledge of Windows Directory, Windows Security (shares and file permissions).

  • Familiar with using a global ticket-based support system.

  • Well-rounded Engineering knowledge of requirements for deliverables, and materials management.

  • Well-rounded IT knowledge for servers, networks.

  • A good knowledge of interfacing/integrating applications and data sets.
