Student Services (50%)
Assist staff with virtual workshops and in-person events/activities
Perform advising and mentoring with program participants via remote or in-person as needed.
Student Records Management, Tracking, Program Guidance, and Office Tasks (50%)
Maintain accurate records and documentation regarding participant contacts
Perform general office tasks (filing, data entry, mailings, phone calls, organization, etc.)
Provide effective lines of communications with Director

Position Overview:
Talent Search (https://triotalentsearch.ku.edu/) is a TRIO college access program funded by the U.S. Department of Education. Through early intervention, this program is designed to encourage participants to remain in school, graduate from high school, and to pursue post-secondary education. Talent Search works with 932 middle and high school students in Kansas City, KS (more specifically Kansas City Kansas Public School District).

The schedule and number of hours per week will be determined at time of hire based on individual preference and needs of the program. This position will be expected to assist with virtual and in-person programming.
