Job Description

You will report into the prefabrication shop at the Laurel, MD site to ensure compliance with company, state and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.

 · You will be responsible for reporting concerns to safety management and ensure health and safety standards are met

 · Responsible for documenting safety inspections, cite dangerous areas/procedures and recommend corrective procedures.

You'll maintain all site required documentation related to safety issues, including accident reports, inspection reports and training logs, and review daily job hazard logs and take action as required

Skills and Requirements

· 5-7 years experience in a Safety Construction Environment

   o Previous project management experience

 · Bachelor's Degree in Safety, health, or Environmental Applied Sciences OR Associate Safety Professional (ASP) Certification

 · OSHA 10hr and OSHA 30hr

 · CPR and First Aid Certifications

 · Proficient in health and safety management systems; OSHA CFR 1926 standards or the state construction safety regulations

 · Must successfully be able to pass BC Check + DT null
