Insight Global Field Support Specialist 2 in Laurel, Maryland

Job Description

An employer is seeking a field support specialist to join the team while they complete the integration of one of their acquisition companies. This person will deal with tier 2 support in break-fix issues on PCs and printers. Some software and hardware troubleshooting, as well as setting up new users and emails in active directory. From a network standpoint this person will help with wireless access points, VPNs, Ips, and switches.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years experience in a desktop support/field support role

Network experience specifically with wireless access points and switches

Break-fix experience with PCs & printers

Active directory experience, creating new accounts and setting up email addresses

Software troubleshooting experience

Experience working with 3rd party vendors

Great communicator and ability to take initiative SQL Server experience

M&A experience null
