Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Systems Analyst I
Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 day per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of remote work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Ideal candidates will be able to report to one of our Pulse Point locations in Indianapolis, IN, Miami, FL, Atlanta, GA, Durham, NC, Richmond, VA or Latham, NY.
The Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Systems Analyst I formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
How you will make an impact:
Devises or modifies procedures to solve moderately complex EDI problems which may encompass factors such as computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results.
Works with vendors regarding the implementation or connectivity related to EDI system.
Troubleshoots with vendors any conversion or system issues.
Works in some phases of EDI systems analysis.
Works with Information Technology for any EDI enhancements or conversion of new accounts.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 2 years of related healthcare experience including EDI and ANSI experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations highly preferred.
Experience working with inbound claims and provider files highly preferred.
Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) highly preferred.
Experience in Edifecs, Flexcare, CAS, AS400, Informatica, Availity highly preferred.
Clearinghouse, implementation, and Encounters experience preferred.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred.
Beginner to intermediate SQL skills preferred.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $63,336 - $95,004
