Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. Data Engineer in Lasalle, Ontario
Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for a Data Engineer to join our New Model Team in Windsor, Ontario. The Data Engineer is responsible for receiving incoming data from customer base and file appropriately into data management system . The ideal candidate will have prior Data Engineering experience, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:
Receive incoming data from customer base and file appropriately into data management system.
Translate customer provided information to internal form and format
Prepare internal quote templates to support Sales/Estimating department using Excel.
Generate blank profiles and associated blank nestings as required to quote tool builds.
Overlay and comparison of existing data and summarization of changes
Updated reporting as it relates to processing of data
Customer interaction – updated quote requirements and associated documentation required to complete
Work collaboratively with engineering and simulations process teams
Release and maintain internal data levels for tooling and production divisions
Ability to read and understand customer specifications and understand their application as it relates to the quoting process
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Office, Fastblank/Fastform, NX12, Catia and Dynaform – Blanking Module
Excellent data management skills
Ability to read and understand customer specifications and understand their application as it relates to the quoting process
Preferred Qualifications:
Time management – ability to prioritize incoming opportunities based on current workload
Work collaboratively in a fast paced team environment
Track and report on key deliverables related to the data management function
