You will develop, administer, and maintain the network infrastructure to support the business by ensuring security, integrity and high-availability of enterprise systems and related components. You should be comfortable working with constantly changing software, hardware, network security programs, and data storage systems. Your commitment to staying up to date and fully informed through ongoing education is vital. This Network Administrator is a permanent role in the Las Vegas, Nevada, area.
What you get to do every day
Coordinating and implementing network software and hardware upgrades
Managing the operation of all local area networks and services related to wide area networks, following company policies and procedures
Investigating and solving problems related to local area networks / wide area network performance, connectivity and related issues
Administering LAN/WAN security, antivirus and spam control measures Requirements
Strong familiarity with Network Security
Expertise in Network servers
Solid understanding of networks
Exceptional skills in troubleshooting, analytics and diagnostics
Understanding of network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN/WAN operations
Previous experience in production environments and being on-call
3+ years of relevant experience
