Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in the architectural industry, specifically specializing in hospitality and gaming and entertainment hospitality projects. The job is based in Las Vegas, Nevada, and involves supporting business operations from an accounting and finance perspective.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with the owner/principal architect to ensure seamless business operations
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Utilize accounting software systems like Quickbooks for processing and maintaining financial data
• Provide the owner with financial reporting and analysis to support timely and accurate decision making
• Manage accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Prepare the annual budget and manage auditing processes
• Monitor and manage customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed
• Ensure compliance with DCAA regulations and standards
• Utilize skills in 3M, ADP - Financial Services, Epicor, and other relevant platforms
• Ensure all accounting tasks are completed in accordance with established laws, regulations, and company policies. Requirements
• Proficiency in 3M and other accounting software systems is essential
• Familiarity with ADP & Paycom is required; Experience with in-house payroll using QuickBooks would be ideal.
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting functions is crucial
• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is needed
• Ability to prepare and manage the annual budget is required
• Prior experience in auditing processes and procedures is a plus.
