    Job Description: The Clinical Teacher-Educator acts as an expert clinician, educator, consultant and researcher. In collaboration with nursing & medical staff, monitors the clinical care of patients and provides clinical support to improve patient care and patient.

    Qualifications

    Education: Master Degree required, preferably in Nursing or a related healthcare field of study

    Experience: Minimum of five years acute care nursing experience; demonstrated experience in clinical program development, outcomes management, and teaching. Cardiac Subspecialty required if working in Critical Care Area.

    Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.

    Technical Skills: Demonstrate a working knowledge of the current Nevada State Board of Nursing Practice.

    License/Certification: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada. Certification in area of specialization is highly desirable. Current BLS Certification is required. Current ACLS/PALS Certification is required per specialty.
