Description
Robert Half recently partnered with a growing construction services company that is looking to add an ambitious Accounts Payable Specialist to their growing team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will work directly with company leadership and play a key role in the continued success and growth of the company. Your responsibilities as an Accounts Payable Specialist, your responsibilities will consist of, but will not be limited to the following:
• Receives, codes and uploads vendor invoices into financial system.
• Ensures invoices/bills are paid in a timely, efficient and accurate manner in accordance with departmental procedures.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with new and existing vendors.
• Responds to vendor inquiries and correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
• Reconciles various accounts, bringing any discrepancies to the attention of the Controller.
• Maintains accurate and organized hardcopy filing system and/or scans and saves invoices in an organized manner.
• Exercises confidentiality and integrity in financial reporting.
• Assists with financial audits, when necessary.
• Manages expense report submittals.
• Updates vendor accounts and contact information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
The ideal Accounts Payable Specialist should meet the following minimum qualifications:
2+ years of full cycle accounts payable experience
Intermediate Excel skills
High volume accounts payable experience
Strong communication skills
Strong organizational skills
