Summary of Position

We are seeking an experienced Sound and Video Content Manager to join our team. This senior-level position is ideal for someone who enjoys detail-oriented tasks and is committed to producing exceptional audio and video content. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sound engineering, experience with video production, and the patience and attention to detail required to manage intricate projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with a team of instructional designers, animators, illustrators, linguists, and other professionals to create high-quality, impactful security awareness training videos and end user engagement materials.

  • Manage sound and video production processes, reviewing projects at appropriate checkpoints to ensure production deadlines are met.

  • Maintain and update a comprehensive catalog of audio, video, and text content, utilizing file-sharing software and spreadsheets for systematic organization.

  • Generate and refine synthetic voiceover audio using Text-to-Speech (TTS) technology, ensuring clarity and naturalness in output.

  • Edit and process audio assets to achieve seamless transitions and optimal sound quality for various training videos.

  • Develop and implement sound designs for training videos, creating engaging and contextually appropriate audio landscapes.

  • Master audio recordings across multiple languages, ensuring consistency and high-quality production standards.

  • Develop animatics to conceptualize content for internal and external reviews.

  • Provide expert guidance and training to team members on advanced audio editing techniques and sound design principles.

  • Ensure compliance with established production processes, including version control and file naming/storage standards.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sound Design, or related field, or similar work experience.

  • At least 6 years of experience in audio engineering or video production.

  • Skilled in using Mac and Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Creative Suite, Smartsheet, Slack, and Dropbox.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.

  • Organized and able to manage multiple projects at once.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Self-motivated and eager to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree.

  • Familiarity with ElevenLabs and other Text-to-Speech (TTS) technology platforms.

  • Experience developing training for delivery on Learning Management Systems.

  • Experience working in a diverse, remote work environment.

  • Familiarity with information security concepts and terminology.

Reporting Relationships

  • This position reports to the Creative Director of Security Awareness.

  • This role does not have direct reports but involves collaborative project work.

Work Environment

Remote work environment with occasional travel for required meetings up to 10%

The base salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $75,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location and relevant experience, education, certifications, and years of experience. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
