The Opportunity

Member of the Ally Supply Chain (ASC) Shared Services & Operations team supporting the Operations Manager to ensure data integrity, efficient processes within Supply Chain’s technology and Ally Policy, Procedure & Standard adherence.

This position will also provide operational support for ASC’s Sourcing, Procurement and Contracting teams in Coupa, Archer and overall ASC technology. Operational support includes monitoring and reporting of Supply Chain compliance and controls with relevant policies and procedures and the ability to initiate and execute small to medium scale projects. Facilitates a culture of risk identification to support regulatory compliance. Manages relationships with internal customers and technology partners. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to document and effectively communicate problems, trends, or analysis with leadership to promote positive change.

The Work Itself

  • Lead the Supply Chain Data Governance Program, inclusive of co-leading five+ offshore resources to detect and enforce data governance and Certificate of Insurance program compliance within the Third-Party Lifecycle process.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate Desk Procedural Manuals (DPMs) for Coupa modules and Data Governance control points.
  • Support sampling for internal audit and external regulator requests for the controls and compliance program.
  • Conduct on-going analysis of Supply Chain reporting in Power BI or Excel to identify defective trends, continuous process improvement, program compliance gaps and automation opportunities.
  • Tactically supports the Supply Chain team in efforts of Coupa (Source To Pay) and Archer (Third Party Risk) end to end procurement process to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead for Sourcing and Contracting Product Ownership - providing subject matter expertise on existing end to end process, gathering feedback from Sourcing and Contracting teams and optimizing Supply Chain technology to meet organizational objectives.
  • Responsible for identifying process issues and submitting ideas with technology partners to improve or automate the customer experience (Sourcing, Procurement, Contract Management, Purchasing, RFP) and/or mitigate risks identified.
  • Participate in project management activities, program development efforts, process enhancement initiatives, and compliance management efforts intended to facilitate achievement of objectives.
  • Responsible for providing operational support relative to Supply Chain Operations with Sourcing, Third Party Risk Management and Lines of Business.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal business partners and supply chain peers.
  • Applies knowledge of company policies and industry best practices to resolve problems.

The Skills You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Sourcing or Procurement , preferably in Financial Services industry
  • Operations, Risk, Compliance or Financial Services industry experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree Supply Chain, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Strong risk identification mindset or experience with procurement/sourcing QA/QC
  • Proven track record of driving for results with minimal ongoing direction.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in Coupa and Archer preferred or related Procurement or Third Party Risk technology.
  • Ability to leverage data and technology to improve a process, mitigate risk or solve problems
  • Embracer of change.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively across business levels (both vertically and horizontally).

Base Pay Range:

Emerging: 70000

Experienced: 95000

Expert: 120000

Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan
