Insight Global Senior Full Stack Engineer in Lansing, Michigan
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join a critical product development effort supporting one of the top consulting firms in the world. This individual will be responsible for working with and building custom frameworks on React and Node.JS. This person will also be tasked with backend API integration with existing .NET framework knowledge and experience. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Single Page Application (SPA) architecture, performance optimization, and client-server behavior.
Additional responsibilities include:
Develop, enhance, and maintain custom React frameworks (monorepo) while ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Architect, design, and implement Single Page Applications (SPA) with a focus on performance optimization and security.
Optimize React application performance, including rendering efficiency, bundle size reduction, and lazy loading strategies.
Collaborate with backend teams working with .NET-based APIs to ensure seamless integration and data exchange.
Work with different teams (frontend, backend, DevOps, and QA) to implement strategies for stabilizing the projectand improving overall system reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve application performance issues and implement best practices for optimizing response times.
Ensure smooth client-server communication through RESTful APIs and other integration techniques.
Implement best practices for code structure, state management (ServiceWorkers, Event based architecture, Context API), and reusability.
Contribute to the optimization, security, and maintainability of frontend and backend services.
Stay updated with the latest technologies in React, Node.js, and .NET, and implement modern techniques to improve application architecture.

Skills and Requirements
Expertise in React.js, including functional and class-based components.
Experience with custom framework development on React.
Strong understanding of SPA architecture and lifecycle methods.
Proficiency in performance optimization techniques such as memorization, code-splitting, and virtual DOM manipulation.
Knowledge of frontend tooling such as Webpack 5, Babel and ESLint.
Familiarity with modern CSS frameworks based on Bootstrap 5 (SASS, or LESS).
Experience working in an Agile development environment. Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and cloud deployment platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). null
