Description:
Our client is seeking a Middleware Administrator to join their System Team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience supporting application server installs, quarterly patching, and post install user group remediation.
From a personality/culture standpoint, seeking a Middleware Administrator who is enthusiastic, eager to learn, self guided, but willing to take direction.
From a technical standpoint, any previous experience with JBoss, Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, OpenShift or Autosys is highly preferred.
Top Skills' Details
2 to 5 years technical experience for a Middleware Administrator in:
JBoss EAP application servers and Apache Web Server or similar knowledge with other application services.
Ability to install and upgrade application server configurations and apply quarterly and critical patches to the application servers.
Familiarity with SSH specifications and Public Key Encryption/Cryptography.
UNIX-based skills including RC4, Certification Authorities, SSL and Single Sign On, shell scripting, and Java.
-Support planned maintenance patching (typically two weekends per month), provide support after normal business hours.
