The Data Warehouse developer position will perform application development tasks in support of building BI applications and integrating Data Warehouse resources into other applications. Provide expertise to other application developers in close collaboration with DBAs and other data management staff.
If you are located in Lansing, MI, you will have the flexibility to work from home and in the office in this hybrid role* as you take on some tough challenges.
The schedule for this role is two days in the office and three days working remotely.
Primary Responsibilities:
Creating Data Warehouse BI applications including reporting, dashboards and other information analysis and delivery system
ETL and SQL development
Working with developers and end users to design, develop and improve database queries.
Providing one-on-one support for developers and end users to assist them in accomplishing their data reporting needs
Developing or acquiring test data and initiate tests to determine the accuracy of reporting logic to produce desired results

Required Qualifications:
Local to Lansing, MI with the ability to go into the office 2 days a week
3+ years of Teradata Utilities experience
3+ years of SQL and ETL development
2+ years SQL Assistant experience
2+ years SQL and Performance Tuning experience
2+ years Teradata Version 16/17 experience
2+ years SAP BI experience
1+ years Unix Shell Scripting experience
Proven excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work independently
Experience mentoring co-workers
Preferred Qualifications:
Teradata certifications
Business Objects Report Development
Oracle (9i, 10g, 11g) experience
Experience with Child Welfare Services, Juvenile Justice, Juvenile services, MISACWIS or other related experience
Teradata DBA experience
