The Opportunity

This position will be responsible to manage Power BI reporting and analytics for Remarketing. This position will be managing a team of analysts and working closely with various matrix partners. Looking for a dynamic leader with excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills as well as experience in Snowflake, Power BI, Python.

The Work Itself

  • Engage directly with business and technology partners to understand objectives to deliver analytic-centric solutions.
  • Create and maintain dynamic reporting suites that allow for end users to see trends and decipher actionable information.
  • Enhance reporting capabilities through extensibility as well as the creation and enhancement of curated semantic models, dashboards, KPI, metrics, reports, etc.
  • Provide training to end users and assist in the development and ongoing knowledge sharing across Ally's power user community
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and end users to effectively determine business needs, defining requirements, designing solutions, and implementing functional and technical enhancements
  • Manage a team of analysts and prioritizing the work

  • Heavier emphasis on business partnering and subject matter expertise in not only data but how the business operates.

  • Strong working knowledge of data storing and processing large data sets

The Skills You Bring

  • 5+ years of analytics experience and people leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Finance , Economics, Statistics, Information/Computer Science or similar background preferred.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Snowflake, Oracle SQL, Python, Cognos, Power BI, and other reporting - analysis tools

  • Strong application knowledge of SAS.

  • Preferred experience - Gitlab, DBT, JIRA, QLIK, AWS, MFT
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present proposals and vision to Executive leadership through transformation of data into clear insights and compelling narratives
  • Ability to excel in a collaborative working environment with partners across various job functions and experience levels such as IT, Compliance, Legal, and Operations.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and balance multiple initiatives and efforts.

Base Pay Range:

Emerging: 110000

Experienced: 145000

Expert: 180000

Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan
