Universal Health Services Psychologist - Per Diem or Contract in LANCASTER, Pennsylvania
Responsibilities
Provide the following psychology services at the request from a qualified member of the medical staff:
Diagnostic testing
Individual, group and family therapies
Participate in multi-disciplinary treatment conferences
Participate in program development and evaluation
Provide such services within the timeframes established by hospital policy and medical staff rules and regulations
Provide accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions and evaluations as established by hospital policy and medical staff rules and regulations
Assist the hospital CEO in the review of policies and procedures related to psychological services on an as needed basis
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Doctoral degree in counseling psychology.
Licensed by the state of Pennsylvania as a Pharmacologist.
Written and oral communication skills.
Skills in case management, time management, and crisis intervention.
Skills in administering psychological tests.
Knowledge of adult and adolescent psychological disorders.
Advanced principals of abnormal psychology.
Ability to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical records documentation
Ability in maintaining information as highly confidential.
