Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will join a global team of cyber security professionals with primary responsibilities on investigating security events and major incidents, and the management and administration of our cyber security tools. Scope/Supervision and Interaction This position does not have direct reports. Essential Functions This role is subject to Export Control Restrictions (ITAR) and all applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee. Monitor, analyze, and triage security events from the Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) and other security tools to identify security incidents. Investigate and respond to security incidents, providing detailed analysis and recommendations for mitigation. Assist in the development and refinement of incident response playbooks. Participate in the continuous improvement of our security posture through threat hunting activities and proactive threat detection. Develop, implement, and maintain SIEM use cases, rules, reports, and dashboards. Provide technical support and guidance on security issues to other team members and stakeholders. Stay current with the latest security trends, threats, and vulnerabilities. Assists in the development and implementation of new technologies/services including communication and reporting to key stakeholders on status and project closure. Communicates decisions & formalize recommendations impacting area of responsibility to manager and business partners and key stakeholders where appropriate. Manages own priorities and provides direction, guidance and mentoring to team members. Candidate must be local to Cleveland, Ohio. Internal applicants can also be local to Hemel Hempstead, UK Qualifications: This role is subject to Export Control Restrictions (ITAR) and all applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee. Bachelor's degree in cyber security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related area (Or international equivalent) Experience with SIEM tools Strong understanding of cyber security principles, IT systems, and networks 4+ years related IT experience Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills Strong interpersonal skills, relates well with all levels of the organization Strong analytical skills and ability to effectively identify and resolve issues Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CySA, CompTIA Security+, or GCIH are a plus Parker is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
