System One Maintenance Mechanic - Injection Molding in Lakewood, New Jersey
Maintenance Mechanic Technician
Location: Lakewood Industrial Park, Lakewood, NJ
Hours: Dayshift, Monday-Friday | 40/hrs per week
Maintenance Mechanic Job Duties:
We operate 4 injection molding lines which manufacture plastic panels. This job entails fixing, repairing and troubleshooting our injection molding machinery along with other manufacturing equipment (assembly line style manufacturing)
Types of machines / equipment: Plastic injection molding, hot plate welding, sonic welding, punch press, drill presses, etc.
Maintains communication with management on broken equipment
Orders parts, maintains spare parts inventory and communicates with management when significant or prolonged down-time is needed
Oversees and performs preventative maintenance of equipment per schedule
Refers to O&E manually regularly before starting a job to learn and understand equipment. Plans work.
Call in parts orders once approved
Basic understanding the PLC’s
Preforms facility maintenance as needed
Repairs or replaces lights, or lighting fixtures
Maintenance Mechanic Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least (1) one year prior experience repairing, fixing and/or troubleshooting machinery and equipment, preferably from another ISO-9001 certified environment.
