Full job description Client Service Representative (CSR) OVERNIGHT & DAY SHIFTS AVAILABLE Hourly Payrate: $16.50-$23.00 (Non-Exempt Hourly Employee) *(Payrate dependent on Experience & Skill Set)

Work Location Expectation: In-Person Overnight Schedule(s): Thursday-Saturday (3x12); Sunday-Wednesday (4 x 10hr)

Job Summary: At Evolution Veterinary Specialists it is the duty of our Customer Service Representatives (CSR) to provide customer service to all clients & hospital visitors, manage client relationships, and resolve issues. The CSRs often act as the first point of contact for clients & visitors and are key to maintaining a positive brand image. Education & Experience: Required Minimum: Highschool Diploma or GED. Required: 1-2+ years of customer service experience in a fast paced office setting or related field. Strongly Preferred: 2+ years experience in a Veterinary ER hospital/clinic as a receptionist or position equivalent.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: Schedule appointments and input incoming clients coming in through the ER into EzyVet system. Assist in scheduling diagnostics for patients such as ultrasounds and surgeries when necessary. Understanding of basic triage concepts and when to forward phone calls to technicians or veterinarians appropriately. Answer telephones and handle calls quickly, efficiently, and in a professional and friendly manner, using a multi-line telephone system. Call for records on all incoming patients Help keep the reception area and exam rooms clean and tidy as well as properly stock supplies when needed. Access client information within the practice-management software system (EzyVet) and enter/retrieve client and patient data in the system as needed. Check clients and visitors in and out of the hospital. Accurately manage financial transactions such as taking payments Call to remind clients of their appointments and reschedule as necessary, send text/email reminders. Explain delays that affect clients and support comfort of clients and patients during their waits by offering water and/or coffee. Reschedule or accelerate appointments as needed. Willingness and ability to present and explain fees during checkout while discharging patients and processing payments. Support enforcement of policies regarding payments, credit, and pet health insurance. Assist with CareCredit, ScratchPay and All Pet Card applications and any additional payment platforms or funding applications implemented by the company Outline costs and fees in a positive light while supporting hospital payment policies. Understanding and ability to use PayJunction Manage medical records, reports, and correspondence. Assist in keeping all invoices and audits up to date in real time and strive to have no outstanding/unknown issues older than 72hrs. Call clients with an outstanding balance to collect payment. Provide support to the Specialty Liaisons. Other duties as assigned; this list is not exhaustive, & employer reserves the right to assign additional tasks & responsibilities as needed.

Skills & General Job Requirements: Comfort and interest working with animals of all types, including exotic species such as snakes, lizards, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, ferrets, and turtles. Computer skills including typing, organizing, data entry, and communicating while utilizing common computer software and programs. Flexibility and capacity to prioritize new tasks & excellent time management skills. Exceptional interpersonal and communication s ills. Effectively communicate through verbal and written correspondence. De-escalation skills. Working knowledge of the grieving process. Ability to work independently with little oversight. Capable of holding yourself accountable to all hospital policies, procedures, and willingness to hold team to the same standards. Quality customer service. High attention to detail.
