Bachman's Inc. Inventory Support Office Clerk in Lakeville, Minnesota

Inventory Support Office Clerk 

Job Duties:

  • Office administrative support, including functions related to partnering with HR 

  • Perform payroll functions, including timecard and timesheet duties 

  • Process purchase orders 

  • Maintain office and related production supplies, such as gloves, pruners, rain suits, tools, supplies, etc. 

  • Support communication and activities

  • Help maintain an accurate computer inventory for all nursery departments

  • Tagging field and container orders

  • Support planting operation 

  • Participate in container production cultural practices including pruning, spacing, fertilizing, weeding, winterizing, and other duties as assigned 

    Qualifications:

  • Two year degree in business/accounting related field, preferred 

  • Two years nursery experience, preferred 

  • Knowledge of landscape plant materials, preferred. Including ability to recognize and identify plant pest and disease problems. 

  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office (Excel and Word), Epicor Eagle, StarCom, UKG, and others 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Bilingual, desired 

  • Must have good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work as a team player 

    Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday, 7:30a-4p

  • Extended summer hours of 7:30-5pm on weekdays and 8a-12p on Saturdays during the busy/peak season (usually May & June). 

  • May be asked to work additional hours as needed. 

  • Seasonal (approx. end of March – end of November).
