Responsibilities
Evaluate and update existing Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs to ensure content is current and remains applicable
Standardize EHS document format and appearance (policies, procedures, guidelines)
Update EHS information currently posted on internal web portal and ensure an organized presentation is provided to our internal customers
Evaluate EHS training materials and provide improvements with updated content and graphics relevant to the subject matter and to our company culture
Evaluate a site emergency preparedness plan and organize a training and drill event
Prepare a statistical analysis of incidents related to job practice
Other duties relating to EHS as assigned
Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
Well organized, good communication skills and a desire to learn
Strong attention to detail and comfort working in a team environment
Understanding of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration Code of Federal Regulations and applicability to general industry
Currently pursuing studies towards a degree in Occupational Health Safety and demonstrates good academic standing

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. The compensation rate is $19.00/hour.
