NDI Engineering Company Circuit Card Repair Technician in Lakehurst, New Jersey
NDI Engineering Company is seeking a Circuit Card Repair Technician to conduct diagnostics and repair includes diagnosing failures on circuit cards using advanced tools and techniques, repairing failures, certifying repair, and developing new technologies to improve capability to diagnose and repair failures.
As a repair technician, you will be doing hands-on repair, assembly, soldering or re-manufacture of mechanical and electro-mechanical components utilizing company provided approved data. The technician will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, electromechanical, and machined assemblies for repair evaluation.
Possess Journeyman level knowledge of the basic concepts of electronics disciplines. This knowledge shall include basic electricity, electronics, circuit theory, digital logic.
Skills and Requirements:
Must have four (4) years of circuit card repair experience
Read schematics, drawings, and their associated Bill of Materials (BOM)
Performing quoting, reviewing part number identification, BOM quantities, pricing, and sourcing.
Submitted inputs on engineering/reverse engineering BOMs for crucial component values and associated commercial part numbers on the new BOM.
Provide legible and organized component pricing on various quotes.
Must be efficient in Excel - cutting Excel data and pasting the data into the appropriate JEDI quote fields.
Shall identify problems to the component level and shall have basic electronic construction and repair skills including soldering and wiring to include the ability to perform these functions on delicate circuit cards.
Shall have experience analyzing engineering drawings (such as schematics, logic diagrams, block diagrams, wiring diagrams, interconnecting drawings, and blue prints).
Experience with the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Miniature Micro miniature/Module Test and Repair (2M/MTR) Program is a plus.
Work location is onsite at the diagnostic lab at Naval Air Warfare Center, Lakehurst, NJ.
Must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
