Ascensus Relationship Manager in Lake Mary, Florida

Section 1: Position Summary

Serve as the primary point of contact and manage relationships for financial institution clients and the insurance portfolios the company administers for them. Ensure client requests are fulfilled accurately and efficiently and that we are proactively presenting solutions to clients. Collaborates closely with reporting teams, application technology, consulting teams, and external advisors.

Section 2: Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Nurtures long standing relationships with clients by delivering high quality and responsive service that exceeds expectations

  • Assists as needed with technical client issues and projects

  • Collaborates with and openly shares knowledge with colleagues

  • Maintains regular and frequent communication with clients and advisors

  • Serves as the client and product resource and lead the service team in all administrative tasks

  • Works under pressure in a very fast-paced, demanding work environment

  • Leads efforts to onboard new clients and coordinate internally when presented with this opportunity

  • Coordinates client meetings and discussions; virtual and in person

  • Identifies cross-selling opportunities to support business development within the company

Section 3: Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements

  • Familiar with insurance concepts, practices and procedures

  • Ability to mentor and lead others

  • 8+ years or working within the insurance, banking, or financial services industries

  • Insurance license (or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire)

  • Series 6 and 63 licenses (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college

  • Strong MS Office skills to include Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

TRAVEL

  • Up to 10%

For all virtual remote positions, in order to ensure associates can effectively perform their job duties with no distractions, we require an uninterrupted virtual work space and there is also an expectation of family care being in place during business hours. Additionally, there is an internet work speed requirement of 25 Mbps or better for individual use. If more than one person is utilizing the same internet connection in the same household or building, then a stronger connection is required. Note: For call center roles specifically , it is a requirement to either hardwire your equipment directly to the internet router or ensure your workstation is in close proximity to the router.
