If you are looking to build a strong career, we have an opportunity for you! We are searching for a Senior Trade Business Analyst to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As a Senior Trade Business Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting design and development of strategic trade promotion system and enhanced reporting capabilities. This position plays a key role in driving best practices through the production of quality information and insights derived from the TPM system. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain working knowledge of the Trade Promotion Management application, reports, and processes.

  • Take responsibility for managing daily trade administration tasks and the RCP TPM support mailbox. Work cross-functionally to coordinate work necessary to resolve issues and answer end user inquiries. Follow through on issue investigation and resolution.

  • Prepare and deliver regular reports and presentations, summarizing key findings, insights, and recommendations for key stakeholders.

  • Represent Field Sales by ensuring technologies are being fully leveraged to optimize revenue and ROI metrics.

  • Responsible for supporting design and development of strategic trade promotion system and enhanced reporting capabilities. Perform continuous stop/gap analysis to improve processes and workflows.

  • Responsible for supporting advanced methodologies for evaluating trade promotion effectiveness.

  • Manage consumption data (Nielsen, Circana/IRI) information 4-week updates and trading area changes.

  • Maintain working knowledge of the SAP Business Warehouse reporting tool.

  • Assist with coordination of the annual trade planning and budgeting.

  • Support internal and external audit requests.

  • Provide leadership and expertise required to educate end users on trade reporting capabilities and assist with inquiries on report building.

  • Work with Information Technology and software vendors to research, analyze, and resolve trade reporting issues.

  • Follow through on process or data issue investigation and resolution.

  • Prepare and distribute trade program communications and announcements.

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Finance Information Systems, or related field.

  • 5+ years of progressive reporting and analytics experience.

  • Experience in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Power BI, Power Query).

  • Proficient in MS Office.

  • Strong analytical skills as well as being detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all deliverables.

  • Must be team oriented with the ability to collaborate closely with sales, marketing, finance, supply chain, and other departments to align trade promotion strategies with overall business objectives.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.

  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.

  • Ability to leverage data, trends, and processes to identify opportunities to improve ROI and process.

  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information verbally as well as in written formats.

  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically and systematically.

  • Trade promotion management experience in the CPG industry.
