Job Title: Welder/Fabricator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding, grinding, and fabricating truck bodies. This position requires proficiency in MIG welding, reading blueprints, and using various fabrication tools.
Responsibilities
Perform welding tasks, including MIG welding.
Grind welds to ensure a smooth finish.
Fabricate truck bodies according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints for fabrication projects.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in MIG welding.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience with welding and fabrication.
Skilled in using grinding tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in reading a tape measure.
Comfortable learning and using overhead lifting devices.
Ability to perform basic math functions.

Our large operation offers opportunities for advancement and internal movement. We conduct quarterly reviews and provide regular increases in pay. Our work schedule runs from Monday to Thursday, with occasional work on Fridays. We provide all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
Work Environment
The work environment is a large, open factory/plant floor with dim lighting due to the welding stations. The facility features large overhead cranes and well-ventilated welding stations, each designed to accommodate grinding tasks after welding is completed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $29.00/hr.
