The Walt Disney Company Administrative Coordinator-Guest Experience Integration in Lake Buena Vista, Florida

This role reports to the Project Manager for Guest Experience Integration.
Our administrative coordinator is essential to keeping the EPCOT leadership center running smoothly. It goes without saying that there will be phone calls, ordering and meeting support, but this job is very much about people , about building relationships and leveraging your peers and partners within the park to help our Cast be successful. As the “face” of the EPCOT leadership center, your professionalism, loyalty, and attitude reflect the office, and as such, are a critical component to its success. Every day as an administrative coordinator is different! On any given day you might:
Partner as the information hub for the residents of EPCOT including executives, leaders, front-line Cast, Operating Participants, WDI, etc.
Drive team effectiveness and anticipate needs of the organization through
An organized and professional environment while providing service focused delivery
Knowledge and awareness of the front-line Cast and Guest experience
Daily operational update emails and schedules
Monitoring phones and calendars
Managing and obtaining backstage clearance for non-residents
Order office supplies through Casual Buyer, manage purchase orders, partner with vendors, receive and track all deliveries to the office
Provide general office management – keep up with multiple tasks, deadlines, and coordinate and drive responses effectively
Assist the Duty Manager team with operational requests
Assist the Park Planning and Integration team with Cast engagement events, media events, and more
Here’s what you will need to be successful in this job:
Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, One Note, etc. and confidence to learn new programs when necessary
Verbal and written communication skills, including telephone etiquette
Time management and follow-through skills, along with the ability to be flexible with daily tasks and the ability to prioritize the workload
Ability to handle confidential information
Effectiveness working in a team environment alongside administrative professionals, project managers, and senior leaders of the organization
Problem solving skills, as well as continuous improvement process skills by sharing creative and new ideas
Ability to build solid inter and intra-team relationships, desire to be truly helpful to our Cast and your co-workers, and go the extra mile without being asked
