"Job#: 2022357 Job Description: Role Overview:Apex Systems is seeking a dynamic and results oriented salesperson to join our team. The role is responsible for developing new business across a generally defined geographic region. You will promote our clients's industry-leading individual healthcare navigation, advocacy, wellness and EAP solutions to C-Suite executives and consultant/ broker partners within this region. You will be supported by a sales leader, sales tools including contact/prospect databases, Salesforce CRM, and a team of consultant/broker channel resources.You will develop new contacts from employers and consultant/brokers and be able to grow contacts and sales in the territory using a proven sales process. An essential part of this role is leveraging and nurturing strong relationships with key employer stakeholders in human resources department as well as within the insurance consultant/broker community. The primary responsibilities for this role are to identify and engage with both human resource leaders as well as consultants/brokers to understand their needs and to identify RFP opportunities for setting up opportunities to sell Health Advocate's full spectrum of solutions.Primary Job Responsibilities:We are looking for " lead generators and closers, who will achieve annual sales commitments byAssertively prospect including significant efforts in cold calling.Leveraging social media (LinkedIn Navigator) to build new relationships and awareness.Developing new consultant and industry relationships for high opportunity creation.Capitalize on internal lead generation activities (industry events, webinars, social media, etc.).Diligently maintain activity information in Salesforce including meeting notes, contact information, proposal status and personal contacts lists.Following prescribed sales processes for identifying, nurturing, and closing business.Demonstrate deep knowledge of Health Advocates primary product set and competently present to both employers and consultant/brokers.This position is remote, but travel is expected to hold important sales presentations and finalist presentations within a specified territory.Candidates must reside in the Dallas, Chicago, or Notheast (NY/Boston) regionAdditional Position Requirements:Additional requirements include critical thinking and decision-making, proficiency in making sales phone calls, engaging in internal meetings, and taking responsibility for sales follow ups.You must be able to coordinate and effectively run sales presentations.You must initiate at least 30 phone calls weekly and managing follow up scheduled through Salesforce.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration, marketing, or a comparable work experience required.Experience:Prefer at least 4 years of experience in business-to-business development. Experience selling employee health related products or benefits brokerage is preferred but will consider other sales backgrounds in insurance brokerage, healthcare point solutions, insurance companies, HR technology or financial services.Proven success in building a territory, developing an extensive network of contacts, selling to medium (500+ employees) sized companies.
