External Description

The Senior Executive Director is a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership, operational oversight, and organizational stewardship of the organization and their identified Division. They are responsible for setting the strategic direction, ensuring organizational sustainability, and promoting a culture of excellence and innovation. With a focus on collaboration, impact, and equity, the Senior Executive Director leads efforts to engage stakeholders, build partnerships, and drive organizational growth and effectiveness. Strategic Leadership and Vision: Develop and articulate a clear and compelling vision for their assigned areas of the Division based on the Enterprise and Division Strategic Plan. Set strategic goals and objectives that align with the organization's mission, vision, and values, and establish metrics for measuring progress and success. Monitor industry trends, evaluate organizational effectiveness, and make recommendations for improvements. Program Development, Program Management and Quality Assurance: Oversee all aspects of assigned areas operations, including program development, financial management, human resources, and administration. Ensure the efficient allocation of resources to maximize the impact of programs and services. Collaborates with other leaders in the Division and across the organization to identify opportunities, recommend direction, and implement operational changes for standardization, consistency, and best practice. Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement throughout the organization, promoting high standards of performance and ethical conduct. Financial Management and Resource Management: Develop and manage the organization's annual budget in collaboration with Executive Leadership Identify trends and profitability concerns to make appropriate changes and recommendations to address business and/or needed improvement. Champion the allocation of internal resources, including staffing, budget allocations, and operational support, to ensure that the organization's strategic initiatives and programmatic priorities receive the necessary resources and support for effective implementation and alignment with organizational goals. Leadership and Staff Development: Communicates mission, goals, and policies of Merakey and division to direct reports, and creates and implements strategies for those in the assigned region/programs to accomplish them and ensure strategically aligned plans and practices. Serves as a role model to foster a collaborative, high-achieving, and supportive environment across all departments within and outside of the Division/Department. Responsible for building a best-in-class team by guiding, mentoring, developing, and leading management and individual direct reports to facilitate personal/professional growth and ensure/develop excellent performance. Invest in staff development and succession planning, identifying emerging leaders and providing opportunities for leadership training, mentorship, and advancement within the organization. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications and Requirements: Master's Degree with 10+ Years Experience in Human Services, Business Administration, or Related Field. 10+ Supervisory or Managerial Experience. NADD Certification in 1st Year. Displays knowledge and relationships with industry thought leaders and payers, along with the ability to expand and cultivate those relationships and apply related market intelligence to inform strategy, development, and marketing approaches. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; ability to influence and engage a wide range of stakeholders. Demonstrates acute business acumen including private sector understanding that includes proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis and resource allocation. Experience in managing complex budgets and maximizing financial resources. Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams, foster a positive organizational culture, and manage change effectively. Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex issues, develop innovative solutions, and drive results.
