PeopleReady Industrial Maintenance Technician in Ladson, South Carolina
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you'll support Industrial Projects throughout Charleston, SC. Typically assisting in downtime, facility & Instrument upgrades, & new facility expansions with round-the-clock production maintenance at the heart of this position. Experience working in Maintenance, Millwright, Electrical, MIG/MAG Welding or Body Shop Experiences should have you set up for success in this role. The pay rate for this job is $32 - $37 / hour

Responsibilities:
Will vary based on assignments but may include: 8-hour daily including 1st, 2nd, & 3rd shift options with possible emergency call-ins as required to maintain production
Review maintenance schedules, operation manuals, SOPs, and other materials to ensure production targets are met with high accuracy.
Measure, cut, & install or replace machinery components promptly
Maintain records of repairs and materials used to ensure supplies needed are available and restocked as they are used
Communicate with leaders, peers, sub-trades, & trainees on activity plans, targets, issues, & accomplishments each shift worked
Perform adjustments and alignment of production processes along the production line
Build & expand on existing technologies, equipment, & data processing requirements as needed in the production line changes to ensure seamless integration & implementation of new procedures
Qualifications:
Communicate with leaders, peers, sub-trades, & trainees on activity plans, targets, issues, & accomplishments each shift worked
Perform Troubleshooting & preventative maintenance on robotic equipment, program controls, power sources, & general equipment upkeep
Follow SOPs & safety guidelines to ensure proper use of production equipment within tolerances of company standards
Perform MIG/MAG Welding as needed & understand welding processes as they relate to different stages of the process
Complete Audits, Assessments, & Production reviews to optimize processes in the production
