Exeltech Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Professional Engineer (Civil) in Seattle, WA. Job duties: Preparing analysis, plans, specifications and estimates for various size projects, including buildings, retaining walls, culverts and other structures; Working with internal staff and external Clients to deliver projects; Projects include the designing of buildings, bridge structures, interstate signs, multi-story retail buildings, structural/hanging fixtures in casinos, and retaining walls on highways, among others; Helping to maintain and improve quality processes; Detailing plans in AutoCAD, and creating plan sheets per municipality, client, and project requirements; Setting and creating models in the design software, CSI Bridge, to determine how structures and bridges act in certain scenarios, such as earthquakes, wind, etc.; Working on other civil engineering projects, as directed, under the supervision of a Sr. Structural Engineers; and Provide mentoring and training to Engineers-in-Training. Telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. accepted. Position requires bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field, with 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupations. Position requires 2 years of experience using structural analysis and programs, performing design and analysis of structures & technical projects, including bridges and retaining walls. Position requires Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or a Professional Engineer (PE) license. Salary of $90,000 to $125,000/year with standard benefits.
