As an Assistant Construction Manager with Jacobs at the C43 Reservoir, you’ll join our collaborative team providing our clients with award-winning construction management overseeing construction of part of the largest wetland restoration program in the country. Essential Responsibilities:

  • Implement schedule, cost, quality communication, and decision-making information tools and processes across the project.

  • Support project by establishing a safety culture and network of resources to engage with ongoing field operations to meet the needs of the delivery teams.

  • Support the program controls leadership team to establish schedule control, cost control, change management, risk management, and reporting tools

  • Manage construction documentation.

  • Assist the Construction Manager in leading project meetings

  • Actively manage and report on the status of the construction schedule and budget. Monitor the contract progress and make recommendation to client for contractor payments.

  • Work to build a cooperative partnership between client, contractors, and all stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of project issues and the overall success of the project.

  • Demonstrate effective risk management and mitigation practices through proper risk identification, assessment, tracking, and communication

  • Working together, we’ll help you grow and pursue what fulfills you so that we can make impacts on the future – big and small, global and local.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Bachelors or 4 Year Degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.

  • 10 years of progressively challenging experience on major construction projects performing Construction Management.

  • Experience overseeing the construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, storage facilities, and conveyance pipelines.

Ideally, here’s what you’ll also have:  

  • Registered Professional Engineer license FL (PE)
