Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum):

$85.152 - $109.874 - $134.595

The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position.  The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.

What You Will Do

Manage the care of pregnant woman at SGPC incorporating basic philosophical tenets of midwife-led care. These include facilitation of natural processes, family-centered care, continuity of care, and the woman's right to participate knowledgeably in her own childbearing experience.

  • Primary careProvides primary care in the outpatient setting to include but not/limited to ante partum, postpartum and family planning. Measurement may include (but may not be limited to) trended quality report data, direct patient information and feedback from both the Director of Maternal Fetal Medicine, and the Director of Women's Services.Provide primary care in the outpatient setting to include ante partum, post partum and family planning care as needed to facilitate care of clients in an expeditious manner according to Guidelines.Review all labs and ensure appropriate follow - up.Assumes responsibility for implementation and direction on referrals / consultation.

  • TrainingProvides individual group experiences to various health professional students in the clinic/hospital setting by acting as preceptor as opportunity arises. Measurement may include (but may not be limited to) feedback from: the Director of Maternal Fetal Medicine, Women's Services Director, Community Clinic Directors, co-workers and patients.Participate in a minimum of two in-service programs.Supervise / precept allied health professionals in the clinic setting.

  • Training and educationAttend and participate in CPSP / PNC / Community Clinic meetings to facilitate coordination of care between the medical and education components.Provide weekly billing of medical care given.Participates in continuing education /continuing competency programs.Participates in professional organization(s).Provide community education services as necessary.Participates in community organization as representative of hospital
